Multi-Purpose Degreaser Soap (MPDS)

Multi-Purpose Degreaser Soap is a professional-grade, water-based alkaline cleaner formulated to break down and emulsify oils, grease, carbon and heavy soil build-up from hard surfaces.

This concentrated liquid cleaner uses a balanced blend of surfactants, builders and solvents to disrupt the molecular structure of oils, allowing them to be lifted from the surface and rinsed away effectively.

Surface Wetting and Dwell Performance

Multi-Purpose Degreaser Soap is engineered for excellent surface wetting and controlled dwell time on both vertical and horizontal surfaces. Proper rinsing is required, particularly on glass and smooth surfaces, due to the product’s strong cleaning action.

Pre-wetting of surrounding plants and landscaped areas is recommended as a precaution, followed by a thorough rinse after cleaning.

Surface Compatibility Notes

• Glass: Safe on glass when used at recommended dilutions and rinsed promptly. Do not allow product to dry.
• Aluminium and coated metals: Use caution and test a small area before full application.
• Not recommended: Painted roofs, natural stone, polished surfaces, or delicate coatings.

How to Use

Heavy Concrete Degreasing (Professional Use)

1. Apply undiluted product to oil- or grease-contaminated concrete.
2. Saturate the affected area and allow the product to dwell without drying.
3. Agitate with a stiff broom to release embedded contamination.
4. Pressure wash with medium pressure or a surface cleaner and rinse thoroughly.
5. For severe contamination, apply a light re-treatment and rinse after extended dwell.

The surface may be wet or dry at the time of application.

Heavy-Duty Cleaning

• Dilution: 1 part product to 5 parts water (1:5)
• Dwell time: 3–5 minutes (do not allow to dry)
• Rinse thoroughly with pressure washing

General Cleaning

• Dilution: 1 part product to 10 parts water (1:10)
• Short dwell time
• Rinse thoroughly

Typical Applications

Concrete, unsealed pavers, driveways, patios, industrial floors, light machinery, building wash on non-painted surfaces, and preparation prior to sealing or coating.

Important Use Notes

• Do not allow the product to dry on the surface.
• Avoid application in full sun, on hot surfaces, or in hot and windy conditions.
• Do not apply if surface temperatures are below 10 °C during rain.
• Do not apply if temperatures exceed 30 °C.
• Always rinse thoroughly, especially around windows and sensitive areas.
