Suggested Mix Ratios

Pre rinse surface with water.

Neutralizing 1-2% SH                                          

Mix 140 – 150 mls into 5 lts , Downstreaming – 10:1 ratio 600mls into 19lts, Proportioner setup 1-2 on dial, X-Jet – open so no tip 250mls into 19.7 lts.

Neutralizing 3-4% SH                                          

Mix 280 – 300 mls into 5 lts , Downstreaming – 10:1 ratio 1.2lts into 19lts, Proportioner setup 3-4 on dial, X-Jet – open so no tip 500mls into 19.5 lts.

Safety and Handling:

Wear protective gloves, safety goggles, and a face mask to shield yourself from potential splashes or fumes. • Work in a well-ventilated area to minimize inhalation of fumes. Open windows and doors or use a fan to improve airflow. • Follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully when diluting the bleach neutralizer. Use the appropriate ratio of neutralizer to water to ensure effective neutralization. • Apply the neutralizer solution directly to surfaces or items that have come into contact with bleach. Use a spray bottle for smaller areas.

Allow the neutralizer to remain in contact with the bleach for the recommended amount of time specified by the manufacturer. This ensures thorough neutralization. • After neutralizing the bleach, rinse surfaces thoroughly with water to remove any remaining residue. • Dispose of any leftover neutralizer solution according to local regulations for chemical waste disposal. • Store bleach neutralizer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and incompatible substances. Keep it out of reach of children and pets. • In case of accidental ingestion, inhalation, or contact with skin or eyes, seek medical attention immediately and provide the product’s safety data sheet to healthcare professionals.

First Aid Measures:

Inhalation:  Remove person from exposure – avoid becoming a casualty.  Remove contaminated clothing and loosen remaining clothing.  Allow person to assume most comfortable position and keep warm.  Keep at rest until fully recovered.  Seek medical advice if effects persist.

Skin Contact:  If skin or hair contact occurs, remove contaminated clothing and flush skin and hair with running water.  If swelling, redness, blistering or irritation occurs seek medical assistance.

Eye contact:  If in eyes wash out immediately with water.  In all cases of eye contamination, it is a sensible precaution to seek medical advice.

Ingestion:  Rinse mouth with water.  If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting.  Give a glass of water to drink.  Never give anything by the mouth to an unconscious person.  If vomiting occurs give further water.  Seek medical advice.
